Barry Mencap Society
This social activity group for young people with learning difficulties is affiliated to Mencap,
and meets on Tuesday and Friday nights from 6.45-8.45 pm at Bryn Sion Hall, Court Road, Barry.
Entertainment on Tuesday evenings includes craft activities, pool and table tennis, whilst Friday nights are taken up with a disco and other activities such as bingo. A barbecue is held on the first Friday of the month during the summer. Members are drawn from as far a
field as Penarth and Llantwit Major. The club is closed during the summer school holidays but information and advice is available throughout the year on the telephone number below.
