Carers UK have produced a very useful guide for Carers entitled ‘Caring about your pension’ which can be downloaded from:
www.carersuk. org/Information/Caringforyourpension.
The guide includes information on how to qualify for State Pensions, how much NI contributions are needed to qualify, and the changes to pensions from 6 April 2010.
